To have free space on your System drive, you need to move some installed software to another location.

I am providing 3 easy ways to move your installed programs to another location in Windows 10, so you may have free space for upcoming installations on C drive. Kindly follow the below steps.

Choose any method and move your installed programs to another location if your System drive gets filled with all installed programs. I have a 2 gigabyte drive that was only partitioned into 1 sector. I want to move the installed programs and data files so that I can re format the drive and use all 2 gb. Steam mover is for teckies, but I’ll try it using your numbered steps. Thanks

We have an old version of Excel 2007 that must be used with exit programs provided by wife’s employer. If I use any of these methods, will all the associated files also be moved. The Excel application file seems to be just a small part of the space indicated by the Uninstall program.

The PC has limited space on C: drive, and I’d like to move Excel to thumb drive or SD drive.

If it is the same computer, the associations should not change. And it is always recommended to run programs from a fixed disk instead of a portable one.
