AMD has now published the Adrenalin driver 23.12.1. Its internal driver version is 23.30.13.01 and applies to both Windows 10 and Windows 11.

This driver update includes support for the upcoming game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and makes many improvements to the AMD Adrenalin software , particularly to its User Interface (UI). Moreover, it also fixes power consumption issues, so your laptops can now run longer whilst gaming.

Although the last AMD driver update version 23.30.13.01 already included the support for “Avatar,” this release highlights this feature again since the last update did not include any other improvements. On the contrary, this release includes more improvements and fixes than we usually get to see from AMD.

This update comes in 2 versions. While one is the regular Windows update, the other one is directed toward Vega and Polaris series graphics cards. While the regular version is relatively smaller in size (680 MB), the other one for Vega and Polaris is almost twice in size (1.2 GB).
