    Thank you for that tip! I’ve been using an older laptop someone gave to me for a couple months, and I finally fixed the whine thanks to the first tip in this article. It really worked and now my ears couldn’t be happier :)

    This is such a savior…OMG I literally though I would be plagued with these weird high pitched sound for the rest of my life. I can’t even begin to thank you enough for this!

    I’ve had this issue for over a year now, I couldn’t even watch a movie on my laptop anymore as every gunshot etc would cause a painful high pitched sound to be played. finally, I found this article and within 20 seconds it’s fixed (I used the first method).
