Windows 8.1 Preview was released by Microsoft recently. The latest version of Windows 8.1 includes Microsoft Internet Explorer 11. IE11 comes with many new features but the main focus of this browser has been performance.
HTML full screen API has also been implemented in IE11 which means that users will be able to run movies and video clips in full screen mode.
The browser can now stream videos from the Internet without even caching it on the disk. This will have improved streaming and video playback.
Internet Explorer 11 Developer Preview is currently only available for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008. There is no support for Windows 8 or Windows XP.
Once installed, IE11 can easily be uninstalled. Just go to Control Panel –> Programs and Features. Select Internet Explorer 11 and press the Uninstall button. You will need to restart the computer to complete the uninstall process.
