Intel has released Beta drivers for its line of graphics cards. This includes both their legacy graphics card as well as the new player in the market – Intel Arc – which is a new type of GPU specifically designed to boost gaming and hardware-accelerated performance.

The latest releases by Intel are the following driver versions:

These are both Beta versions of the drivers. These are early releases that can be used for testing purposes. Intel recommends that you use the stable versions which include the qualified fixes and features if you do not need any pre-release testing.

Although we always suggest that users must keep their drivers updated to have an error-free PC experience and to keep it safe, these drivers come with updates as well as significant issues too. Let us have a look before you can download and install them from the links given below.

  2. An intermittent crash or TDR during the gameplay of Halo Wars 2 has been fixed.
  3. A crash or an “application stopped responding” error during the gameplay of Naraka: Bladepoint has been fixed.

Known Issues

  1. Intel and Codemasters are aware of an application crash issue in F1 22, which occurs on some integrated graphics products.
  2. An error message pop-up may be observed when launching Call of Duty: Vanguard.
  3. An application crash may occur in Watch Dogs: Legion when starting the game.
  4. An intermittent crash or hang may occur during gameplay in Ghostwire: Tokyo.
  5. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive may experience a game crash when changing shadow quality settings in-game.
  6. Destiny 2 may exhibit display signal loss or display flashing during gameplay when HDR is enabled.
  7. Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin may experience an application crash during gameplay.
  8. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint may experience minor shadow corruption in some areas of the game.
  9. CrossFire may experience an application crash and or security alert when joining a game.
  10. Minor graphical anomalies may be observed in the following games:

    • Grid Legends may experience lighting corruption when lighting quality is set to high in the game’s settings.
    • CrossFire HD may experience an application crash when task switching during gameplay.
    • Chorus may experience an application crash in some interior areas of the game such as the ship hangar.
    • Minor graphical anomalies may be seen in the following games:

    • Minor graphical anomalies may be seen in Gears 5.
    • A TDR may intermittently occur in Halo Infinite during gameplay.
    • A game crash or hang may occur when changing resolution in NBA 2K21.
    • Displays connected via an external dock may exhibit a black screen when using 4K@60hz resolution.
  14. [11th Generation Intel Core Processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics]:
    • An intermittent crash or hang may occur in Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.
    • Minor graphical anomalies may be seen in the following games:
      • Elex
      • MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries
      • Strange Brigade
      • The Ascent
    • A black screen or TDR may occur after launching, or during gameplay in Gears 5.
  15. Support for Intel Iris Xe Discrete graphics is not included in this software release. An upcoming software update will re-introduce support for Intel Iris Xe Discrete graphics.

  1. Support for Intel Arc A770M and A550M Graphics (Codename Alchemist) has been integrated.
  2. Intel Game On Driver support on Intel Arc A-Series Graphics for the following games has been added:

  3. Advanced Performance Optimizations: A new feature now available within Arc Control that allows users to select and enable advanced application optimizations has been added.

Known Issues

  1. F1 22 may experience an application crash or hang when using ‘high’ or above quality settings with ambient occlusion set to ‘AMD FidelityFX CACAO.’
  2. The following games may experience texture corruption during gameplay:
    • Call of Duty: Vanguard
    • Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint
    • Strange Brigade
    • Forza Horizon 5
  3. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege may experience texture corruption in the Emerald Plains map when ultra settings are enabled in-game.
  4. Gears 5 may experience an application crash, system hang,s or TDR during gameplay.
  5. Sniper Elite 5 may experience an application crash on some Hybrid Graphics system configurations when Windows “Graphics Performance Preference” option for the application is not set to “High Performance.”
  6. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War may experience an application crash during gameplay.
  7. Map textures may fail to load or may load as blank surfaces when playing CrossFire.
  8. Some objects and textures in Halo Infinite may render black and fail to load. Lighting may also appear blurry or over-exposed in the multiplayer game menus.
  9. [Known Issues for Intel® Arc™ Control]
    1. Checking for driver updates or attempting to install driver updates through Intel Arc Control may sometimes cause an “Error Installing Driver” message to appear.
    2. Smooth Sync is enabled by default when “Application Choice” is selected from the Frame Delivery settings in the Intel Arc Control game settings page.
    3. The Performance Tuning page in Intel Arc Control may erroneously appear visible or configurable on unsupported platforms.
    4. A Windows UAC prompt may occur when launching Intel Arc Control.
